I finally saw Transformers. And for the first time since The Matrix I have been in awe at what I was watching on the silver screen. Going into the movie my expectations were high, which worried me, because high expectations generally end in disappointment, but Transformers delivered, robots and humans alike. I was impressed. I've always been really meticulous when it comes to SPFX, watching outside the action, checking on the little details to see if the movie really is leet. And Transformers was. The CGI was flawless. Morphing at 80+ mph looked incredibly pwnage, and watching Megatron and Starscream blast away at the speed of sound was even better. And who could forget Ironhide, where he front flips over Miss Damsel in Distress by firing those beastly cannons into the flimsy pavement? I love it. Everytime I see a semi going down the freeway I will never think of it the same again.

I started working with my new pair today. On the outset, I was really apprehensive about how she would fit into Elaine's place, but we got off to one hell of a start already, and I don't want to jinx it but I'm excited. I mean nobody would have replaced Elaine, and I miss her a lot, but me and Steph will definitely kick ass. Turns out I'm also doing the Masters division for Worlds, as decided by my coach...which will add more stress to Trials. Yay.

I'm in the process of downloading the Transformers movie so I should probably save as much bandwidth as possible. I'm still a good person, I swear!

UPDATE
Ok, this has been bothering me for some time now. The trailer right before Transformers showed a party, taped with a handheld digital camera. If anyone wants to see the trailer, I'll post it below. There is no title for the movie, only the date: 1/18/08, although for some reason it has been coined Cloverfield. These mystery things kill me inside.

Do not try to bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

Transformers was the ish! I really want to go see that movie again. My friend saw it three times each with a different person. She cheated that way though, because she found two other people than the first person she went with who hadn't seen it. I guess we all used each other though. I needed a ride and she wanted to see it again

But did it have a plot? Special effects aren't EVERYTHING these days...

Ahh.. I'm not watching transformers or Harry Potter, saving cash..

I'm not good at socializing at all.. and I usually turn into a ghost or invisble easily.. BUT my mother thinks that it's a good idea that I socialise. I'm trying to have a screen saver, there are so many things which I don't know how to do right now because Windows Vista sucks! I'm trying to get a password up too but I never seem to be able to find that option.

hehe, it seemed like the old guy was just taking a stab at some humor... and succeeding brilliantly. There's a lot of that kind of nonsensical humor here between us and Japanese people because of the language barrier.

For example, I formed a friendship with one local girl off of nothing but conversations in which we would jokingly announce all the most random phrases we knew how to say in each others language. It was a lot of fun.

I KNOW!!
I've seen Transformers twice, and thus the trailer twice. Every time I've seen it, I want to see it. Or at least know what it is!!

My favorite parts to watch in Transformers was how smoothly they stransisted from running robot to flying aircraft in midstride. LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!! =D

/begin pasteā€”as seen on silver's site/
TMM: I am going to call you TiMM now. Maybe. But anyways! If you would like the pw to silver's stuff, I've got it also! Although this is probably the wrong place to be telling you this! I'm going to copy this part of my comment and paste it in a comment on your site that you might actually read! Yeah! =D
/end paste/
