Life is sneaky
Thursday. 12.7.06 5:40 pm
I try not to dwell on it, but maturity is sneaking up on me and I don't like it. All this stuff happens at once...a job, college, license....it's kind of overwhelming. I have no idea what I want to major in yet. I was thinking something along the lines of psychology but I don't even know if I'll like that. I like having not to worry about things; responsibility isn't something I enjoy. That translates into laziness....I gotta get over it sometime.

Today, somehow, a 12-pack of soda fell off a truck. Miraculously, some guy stops in the middle of the intersection to pick them up. I'm sure had the safety of the other vehicles on his mind .

Do not try to bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

I feel like that sometimes, like I don't know what to do for the future. Personally I blame society. :P

Maybe it just had a bath.... but fuzzy or not it's still cute. :)

Life really is sneaky! I still don't know what I want to major in. I put "undeclared" on my college apps.. and I STILL don't have a job OR a license! Extreme laziness... Wow, my life's going great right now... not.

And how nice of the guy to pick up the 12-pack of soda. He probably just thought it'd be a nice FREE way to get some soda.

I have no idea, either! And I don't have fuzzy feelings for it, either. You get your license yet? I hate responsibility and yet it's all mine cuz everyone else around me isn't...

Argh, cut off
Wait, fell off the truck meaning it was his to keep, right? I think it was getting 'em for free that spurred him into picking 'em up. XP Maybe that's just cuz I'm so thirsty right now...

I wasn't prepared for life when it happened. I sort of added to it when I left my home for a random state and a life on my own when I was 18 with only $40 to my name. I still don't have a license, but I'm getting there; procrastination is in my nature, hehe :P Although I'm not in college yet {I graduated 2 years ago} I do know what I'm majoring and minoring in so I guess that's a step. Oh well, life is always changing and all you can do is simply adjust the best way possible for you.

Awesome! I use Gimp for everything! I love it! My banner is supposed to look frosty. In the corner where it says my url, it's supposed to look like someone wrote on the frost. lol That's my winter layout. ^.^

I can totally relate to you about being mature. It eventually gets better and you'll get used to everything.

It's okay...ask sneaky as life gets, it somehow always works out.

hehe...I wish I worked at a mini-golf course instead of an office. I think it would be much more fun. This is my favorite mini-golf course in Colorado

yeah..
even though i'm 19, i sure as heck don't act like it. i miss highschool sometimes, but only 'cause of the people of course. i look back on it and i remember being overwhelmed with all that adult stuff, but now that i think of it.. it's not all that bad. i had a bunch of good times. i'm sure you will too. i still don't know what i'm majoring in, but it'll come to me. hahah.

definitely wasn't a true story. I wish it were, it'd make me that more interesting.. haha.. i've had one of those erasers stuck in there when i was younger.. only way i could get it out was by putting my finger above it on my nose (so it wouldn't be forced further in) and put a pencil in the eraser and pop it out....
